We announce the death of Joseph G. Rouse of Cambridge, New York, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 83. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rouse and Lottie Rouse (Parker); his daughter Sara Elizabeth Rouse; his brother Charles M. Rouse; his brother-in-law Edward F. Breeyear; his nephew Edward J. Breeyear; and his parents-in-law, Nellie and Herb Beadle.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Beadle Rouse; his sister Shirley Breeyear of Hudson Falls; his sisters-in-law, Deborah Beadle of Greenwich and Angela Beadle of Greenwich; and his nieces, Margaret and Deborah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home (73 W Main St, Cambridge, NY 12816). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Family Home (67 W Main St, Cambridge, NY 12816).
