The memory of Lynette W. Rood of Camden, New York, who passed away on February 5, 2026 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Wolcott and Arlene Kent Wolcott; and her parents-in-law, S. Willard and Florence Rood. She is survived by: her husband Edward Rood; her daughters, Amy Rood Skumurski (Mark Skumurski) and Kimberly Rood Ruggieri; her grandchildren, Bryn and Michael Ruggieri; her brother David; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Wolcott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
Spring Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, In Lieu of flowers donations in Lynette's name can be made to the United Methodist Church of Camden, Hospice and Palliative Care, or the Abraham House in Rome, NY.
