He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E Aloan and Annie Kirkland Aloan; his stepsiblings, Edith Aloan Bristol and Robert S Aloan; his nephew Robert W. Aloan; and his close friend Doris Fox.

He is survived by: his sibling's children, Linda Davis, Claire Aloan, Pamela Fisher (Alfred), Elaine Scanlon (Thomas), Charles Aloan, Brian Aloan (Linda), Colleen Russell (James) and Lesa (Kelly).
