He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Coe and Gladys Coe; his wife Margaret Foster; and his siblings, Doris Bailey, Carina LaMay, Esther (Cliff Vosseller) and Jane (Howard Thornhill).
He is survived by: his children, Terri Lynn Coe of Fishers, Indiana, Roderick E. Coe of Waterloo, Rhonda Coe Ashworth (Keith) of Bogart, Georgia and Daniel K. Coe (Leslie) of Camden; his granddaughters, Hannah Jennings Whitehead (Jason) of Watkinsville and Audrey Ashworth Mathis (Thad) of Bogart, Georgia.; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Jennings, Coraline Jennings, Emmett Whitehead, Elliott Whitehead, Theodore "Teddy" Mathis, Charlotte Mathis and Beauregard "Beau" Mathis.
