He was predeceased by : his parents, Mervin J. Dupont and Arbutus Manley Dupont; his sister Judy Yakuvoski; his half-sister Kim Jackson; and his granddaughter Kayla Dupont.

He is survived by : his wife Beverly Walker; his son Michael Dupont; his stepchildren, Gary Hessinger, Chris Houseman and Dawn Randall; his grandchildren, Emily Wines, Danielle Kelly and Montana Housman; and his siblings, Rosemary Plato, Susie Chartrand, Nancy Sykes, Karin Rundle, Annette Dupont, Lisa Riggs, Michelle Pink, Roger Dupont and Michael Dupont.
