It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Theodore Tripp of Cameron Mills, New York, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Scott is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Scott's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Tripp and Rea Weiscoff; and his sisters, Sandra (Jim Leonard) and Tammy (Kenneth Parthermer). He is survived by: his significant other Cindy Smith of Cameron Mills; his stepchildren, William Smith (Lori) and Angela Short of Elmira; and his siblings, Rita Chambers of Thurston, Kathy Leonard (Ron) of Elmira, Dan Tripp (Sue) of Elmira and Teddie Tripp. He is also survived by grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and countless friends and co-workers.
