He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Troy and Edna Troy (Wild); his son David Troy, Jr.; and his son-in-law Nate Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Denielle Smith of Hornell; his siblings, Michael Troy and Kelly Tubbs; and his grandchildren, Peyton Smith and Lila Smith.
David's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
