With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty (Congdon) Bacon of Camillus, New York, born in Ilion, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 95. Though Betty has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Bacon; her parents, Forest Congdon and Mary Congdon (McWhithey); and her sister Joanne Hemans. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Meira of Murphys, CA, Kerry Morse (Dane) of Camillus, Jon and James Bacon of Camillus; and her sister Diana Pratt of Brunswick, ME.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
