He was predeceased by: his parents, Lazarus Dimkos and Maria Dimkos (Papou); his wife Sophia; his sons, Apostolos and Paul Peters; and his siblings, George, Phillip, John, Magdoline and Anastasia.

He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Dimkos of Syracuse, Phillip Dimkos (Shiela) of Camillus, Vicky Christo (Don) of Camillus, Peter Peters (Diane) of Baldwinsville and John Peters of Camillus; his grandchildren, Christos Dimkos, Sophia Dimkos (Sean Wallace), John Peters (Emily), Joey Peters (Heather), Tia Rodrigues (Oscar) and Nicholas Christo; and his great grandchildren, Oscar Rodrigues and Ellie Sophia Peters.
