He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas O'Hara and Leona O'Hara. He is survived by: his wife Nanette; his sons, Daniel (Xiuxia), Steven (Lynne) and Gregory; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Ian, Nathan, Aaron and Sydney; and his sister Judith O'Hara Burns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
