It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Thome of Camillus, New York, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Thome and Anna Thome; his brother Louis; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Ann. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Danny (Heather) of Camillus, Maria Thome (Philip Wilson) of Camillus and MaryBeth Muster (Paul) of Camillus; his grandchildren, Joseph, Ella, Mia, Benjamin and Violet; and his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Rinella, Austin (Linda) and James Rinella (Joanne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2932 Warners Rd, Warners, NY 13164).
