Elizabeth Gutchess Obituary
In loving memory of Elizabeth Gutchess of Camillus, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who departed this world on July 20, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart Peenstra and Reba Peenstra; her brother Edward Peenstra; her former husband F. Fredrick Gutchess; and her son Mark Gutchess.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Gutchess of Marietta, Sherri Jordan of North Carolina and Kara Tucker (Robert) of Marietta; her grandchildren, Marissa (Steve), Megan (Andrew), Robert III, Joanne (Jack), Ben (Mary), Levi (Makenzie), McKenzie and Hunter; her great grandchild Callie; and her sisters, Barb and Linda. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the B. L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home (10 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Howlett Hill Cemetery Association, 3882 Split Rock Road, Camillus, NY 13031 for the continued beautification of the cemetery.
