He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford "Tippy" and Nora Holmes (McDougall); his siblings, Clifford, Robert, Jane and Emma; and his grandsons, Spencer and Matthew.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Jacqueline West, Jean Stellato (Gary), Mary Hahn, Harry Holmes, Jr., Gerald "Homer" Holmes and Clifford Holmes; his stepchildren, Jeffery Small (Catherine), Cheryl Small and Richard Small (Mary); and his siblings, Gerald, Judith Bresee and Sally Stoughtenger. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; many great grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews and other relatives.
