He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Eileen; his siblings, James Duncan and Ann Collins; and his stepdaughter Janice Gates.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Francis Duncan (Karen Shine), Mary Sarrouh (John), Pauline Miller (Roland) and Amy Melinn; his stepdaughters, Laura Gates (Laurence Polikoff) and Nancy Gates; and his sister Virginia Ives. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (5600 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (4100 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13214).
