He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his son J. Michael Kane; and his siblings, William E. Kane and Elizabeth J. Tobin. He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Fee (Stephen), Theresa Smith (Jeff), Thomas Kane, Martin Kane (Ann), Brian Kane (Lisa), Margaret Patch and Robert Kane III. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
