We announce the death of Arthur D. Wall Sr. (Canajoharie, New York), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 88. Arthur will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Arthur will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Arthur’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Wall and Elizabeth Ada Wall (Allen); his granddaughter Nicole O'Dell; his siblings, Ralph Wall and Peggy Schrell; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Schrader; his children, Tammy Kennah (Jeff Forbes), Dale Wall (Janet) and Arthur Wall, Jr. (Susan); and his sister Joanne Hotaling. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home (20 Otsego St, Canajoharie, NY 13317). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
