He was predeceased by : his daughter Hope Sheppard; and his siblings, Maeona Christman, Allen, George (Buster) and Gerald.
He is survived by : his wife Violet Briggs; his children, Cynthia (Don Symons), Valerie (Philip Root), Bridgette Sheppard of Canajoharie, NY, Kirk C. Sheppard (Pam) of Port Byron, NY, Keith A. (Judy Sheppard) and Christopher Sheppard of Rome; his son-in-law Jason Kessler of Higginsville, NY; and his close friends, Jeff and Judy Dauback of Rome. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
