He was predeceased by: his sister Joan Wells. He is survived by: his daughter Dietra Stockwell; his stepchildren, Scott, Rob, Jake and Merrily; his wife Kathleen Stockwell; and his brother Robert Barker. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home (20 Otsego St, Canajoharie, NY 13317). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ayres Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Rd, Sprakers, NY 12166, reflecting Jerry's spirit of service and community support and his love of animals.
