Roberts; his daughters, Sheri (Wayne Ropeter, Jr) and Julie (Gary Scott); his siblings, Earl (Marilyn Fredericks, Jr.), Robert "Bobby" (Lorraine Fredericks), Joan Hack Surprenant, Shirley (Brian Harrington) and Liz (Joe Ambrosino); and his grandchildren, Caleb Ropeter and Isabell Ropeter. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
