She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Herbert Smith (Jeanette Taylor), Harry "Tweet" and Eleanor "Bunny" Smith. She is survived by: her son Roman Shaver; her parents, David Smith and Jacqueline Smith; her siblings, Alexandra Smith and David Smith, Jr.; her aunts and uncles, Brenda Jackson (Brian), Paula Smith, Craig Smith (Cindy), Karen Plate (Mike) and Gary Smith (Claudia); her grandmother Gladys Robisheaux; and her friends, Amanda Potter and Nicole Maynard.
