Simmons (Cooper); his children, Belmont Simmons, Kelly LaFleur, Gordon Simmons (Tracy Brown-Simmons) and Conni Bills (Rick); his grandchildren, Gage (Abbey), Kyle, Quinn (Anthony), Kimberly, Keith, Johnny and Sara; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Eloise, Henry, Hazel and Elias; and his sister Dorothy King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
