He was predeceased by: his sister Audrey Cheeseman; and his parents, Truman M. Nichols and Esther Nichols (Lord). He is survived by: his wife Loris Nichols (Andrews); his children, Cheryl Sundlof (David) and James Nichols (Belinda); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Erin Sundlof and Noelle Hillenbrand (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
