With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Freeman F. Housel of Canandaigua, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Paula Wright and Jody Devlin; his siblings-in-law, Pat Devlin and Yvonne Brahm; and his parents, John Housel and Shirley Housel (Baker).
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Housel (Brahm); his children, Stephanie Bode (Chris Hershey) and Brent Housel (Rachel); his grandchildren, Brendan, Alyssa, Christopher, Sammie (Briana) and Gampie'; his siblings, John Housel (Kathy), Linda Dailey (Bert), Dawn Brown (Brian), Karl Housel and Orrin Housel; his siblings-in-law, Nonie Wyffels (Rick Curtis), Skip Brahm (Debbie) and Butch Brahm (Lisa); his aunt Sandy; and his uncle Fran Simmons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
