He is survived by: his wife Diane of Canandaigua, NY; his children, Dawn Almand of Canandaigua, NY, Karen Compton of Bloomfield, NY and Douglas Darling of Rochester, WA; his grandchildren, Sarah, Robert, Tiffany, Lea, Megan, Robyn, Rachael and Joshua; and his sister Betty Lundberg (Eric) of Olean, NY. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to hospices of Monroe and Ontario Counties.
