She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newcomb and Irene Newcomb (Beers); her husbands, William Surrette and Charles Schuyler; her son Ronald; and her siblings, Barbara Taylor (Selah), Gearge Newcomb (Marge), Robert Newcomb (Marty), Lola Merriam (Bernard) and Joan I. Newcomb.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Surrette (John) of Rome and Christi Whaley of Chittenango; her grandsons, Christopher, Jeremy, Jason, Steven Whaley and Spencer Surrette; and her son-in-law John.
