The memory of Peter A. Sorbello of Canastota, New York, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Bing" Sorbello and Josephine Sorbello (DeMauro); his sister Carol Ann; and his siblings-in-law, Tarzy Parolin, Karen Sorbello, Barbara Tretch and Patrick Flinn.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Anthony; his daughter-in-law Lynn Sorbello of Canastota; his daughter Melissa Ackerman of Canastota; his siblings, Paul Sorbello of Baldwinsville, John (Paula Sorbello) and Kathleen; his brother-in-law Armand DiScenna of Kirkville; and his grandchildren, Gabriel J. Sorbello, Giddeon Sorbello and Brendon Peter Ackerman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc. (201 James St, Canastota, NY 13032). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agatha's Church (329 N Peterboro St, Canastota, NY 13032). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Agatha's Cemetery.
