William L. Dykeman Obituary
We announce the death of William L. Dykeman (Canastota, New York), who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 83. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. William will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew William will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dykeman and L. Ruth Olcott Dykeman; and his brothers, Barry Dykeman and Randy Dykeman. He is survived by: his sisters, Joanne Eddy (Gerald "Butch") of Canastota and Linda Coutant of Lake Forest.
