It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol D Ritter of Canisteo, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol D Ritter to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Knight and Luella Evingham Knight; her husband Charles Ritter; her son Thomas Morse; her siblings, Marjorie Henry, Linda Bacon, Doris Knight, Rodney, Ernest, Jack, John, Gary and Archie W. Knight; and her stepdaughter Rose Ritter.

She is survived by : her grandsons, Eric Winkleman and Joshua Flaitz; her children, Kathleen Davies (Thom) of Florida, Cynthia McKibben (Bob Geary) of Hornell, Carol Warriner (Lavern) of Andover and Scott Morse (Mona) of Hornell; and her stepchildren, Barbara Murphy (Terry) of Canisteo, Theresa Ritter of Colorado, Charles Ritter (Nary) of North Carolina and William Ritter of Colorado. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Granchildren.

Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Canisteo Friends wishing to remember Carol are asked to consider a contribution to Vincent House, 310 Second Avenue, PO Box 566, Wayland, NY 14527 or the First Baptist Church, 45 Greenwood Street, Canisteo, NY 14823.
