He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Lehman and Eileen France Lehman; and his brothers, Jonathan, Joseph, Larry, Charles and Kenneth Lehman.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Archibald Lehman; his children, Laura Hunt (James) of Canisteo and Michael Lehman (Michelle) of Canisteo; his siblings, Fred Lehman (Eileen) of Hornell and Nancy Allington of Corning; his grandchildren, Evan Lehman, Hannah Lehman, Sarah Lehman (Hunter McCaffery), Breen Allen and Zachary Hunt (Brenna); his great grandchild Peter Lehman (Sam) of Greenwood; his pets, Yogi, Pal, Reggie, Rusty, Dolly and Lily; and also, Carter Lehman, Lucas Lehman and Morgan Lehman.
