He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Bush and Gladys Bush (Cline); his siblings, Joanne Norbut and Larry Bush; and his sister-in-law Sandy Bush.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Day of Hartsville; his children, David Bush (Darcie), Angela Easter of Fayetteville, NC, Cheryl Prescott of Portville and Brenda Hallett (Gary) of Hartsville; and his siblings, Shirley Bush of Fl, Billy Bush of Canisteo, Kevin Bush of Canisteo and Nancy Tapp of Pine City. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Canisteo (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home (29 E Main St, Canisteo, NY 14823).
