He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou; his children, Robert Charles (Sherry) of Hartsville and Colleen Charles (Tammie Hayes); his grandchildren, Miranda Charles (Brian Shumm), Troy, Dylan, Kelsy Charles, Cassie, Randon Cornell and Charles Hayes; his great grandchildren, Liam, Liara Houghtaling, Braxton Shumm and Jackson Cornell; his sisters, Rita Stewart of Canisteo and Beverly Powers (Larry) of Rochester; and his close friends, Tim Lachusa of Hornell and James McNellis of Hornell.
