She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry D. Burns and Susan Burns; her husband Vernon Spears; J. Merlin and Nettie Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan "Clyde" Spears (Connie) of Avoca, Susan Olmsted (Ron) of Wyoming, Robert Spears of Cameron, Beatrice Parnell (Tim) of North Carolina, Harry Spears (Christine) of Bath, Sharon Spears of Wyoming, Gloria Spears of Bath and Anita Laslow-Travis (Scott Travis) of Bath; her siblings, Erma Brundage, Alta Crosby, Kenneth and Merlin Burns; her grandson Bryant Parnell; and her great grandchildren, Michkail Slade and Hunter Whitmore. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
