He was predeceased by : his father Melvin Daniels; and his son Joshua LaRock. He is survived by : his mother Joyce Cota; his wife Rene Howell; his children, Elizabeth Johns (Kenneth) of Canton, Melvin Daniels (Christine) of Canton and Westley Daniels (Meghan Henderson) of Canton; and his siblings, Patty Butterfield, Arloween Daniels, Lisa Holmes, Verna Bogardus, Melvin Daniels, Alfred Daniels and Norris Daniels. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

Donations in Almond's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
