She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Cota and Lois Cota (Fifield); her husband Benjamin Briggs; her daughter Cindy Mousaw; her siblings, Arthur, Harold, Virgil, Chester, Otis, Richard, William, Virginia Cota, Mary Briggs and Joyce Daniels; and her children-in-law, Barbara Briggs, Leon Simser and Bill Typhair.
She is survived by: her children, Inez Simser, Martha Typhair, Robert Briggs (Darlene), Joseph Briggs (Tari), David Briggs and Charles "Tim" Briggs; her son-in-law Scott Mousaw; her brother Lyle Cota (Mary); and her grandchildren, Jace, Charlize, Bentley, Axle, Lucas, Laurie, Kelly, Mandy, William, Robbie, Kimberly, Jay, Christopher, Katie, Kayla, Kaden and Cory. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
