He was predeceased by: his parents, Erie Belmont Crump and Melva A. Crump (Mouthorp); his wife Margaret Dennee; his siblings, John and Marion Wood; and his son-in-law William Lack.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Crump, Wanda Lack of Hannibal, Ann Crump of Hannibal, Margaret L. Taylor (Todd) of Raleigh, NC, Charlene Crump (Syracuse) and Lewis Crump (Ila). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (21 Park St, Canton, NY 13617). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Union Cemetery or to The Red Cross.
