She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Moore and Frances E. Moore (Forbes); her husband Merton E. Matthews; her brother Grant Moore; her daughter Patricia Matthews; and her son-in-law Robert McBroom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna McBroom of Riverside and Brenda Ashley (Dennis) of Clare; and her sisters, Iris J. Fry of Degrasse and Myra M. Boileau of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
