He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard W. Rivers and Lena M. Rivers (Meacham); his daughter Melanie Rivers; and his sister Elaine Lindsay (Edson). He is survived by: his wife Jeane Rivers (Patnode); his grandsons, Lawrence B. Rivers Jr. and Chad E. Rivers (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Hudson and Hadleigh Rivers; his sister Doris Poquette (Joseph); Tyler Rivers (Amara), Ashleigh Rivers (Derek King), Abigail, Cora and Bryson Rivers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
