Michael J. Collo Obituary

We announce the death of Michael J. Collo of Canton, New York, who passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 78. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael A. Collo and Madeline Collo (Boshane); his sister Mary Waite; his niece Teri Carkner; and his brother-in-law William Carkner.

He is survived by: his sisters, Dorothy Carkner, Pat Arey (Ken) and Fran Lawrence (David); and his nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Carkner (Sharon), Lori Murphy (Mark), Christopher Lawrence, Theresa Arey and Melissa Arey. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews and by one great-great niece.
