She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Scales and Florence Scales (Snyder); her husband Kenneth; her children, Kenneth, Kevin "Toby" and Kathy; her brother Stanley; and her half-siblings, Maureen, Frank, Roy, George "Al" and Earl.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Clark (Kevin) and Juanita Gibson (Steven); her grandchildren, Aaron, Bethany, Moriah Lynn, William and Phillip; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Brooklynn, Adrianna, Nevaeh, Makayla, Micheal, Owen and Ryley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Cape Vincent Volunteer Fire Department, located at 241 Broadway St, Cape Vincent, NY 13618.
