In the sacred silence of farewell, Sherry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her father Morris Golden. She is survived by: her mother Jean Golden of Cape Vincent; her husband Matthew McCarthy of Patrick's Church; her daughters, Abigail, Cadence and Ryley; and her brothers, Jerry Golden (Buffy) and Perry Golden (Cathy).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sherry's memory to the Jefferson County SPCA in tribute to her lifelong love of animals.
