Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her son Jesse Drake; her daughter-in-law Anna DeMattio; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Cassandra and Dustin; her great grandchild Maximus; her husband Russell; her daughter-in-law Susan; and her sister Gerri.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Carmel (10 Fowler Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
