Charles H. Shaffer Obituary
We announce the death of Charles H. Shaffer (Carmel, New York), who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 82. Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Charles will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Charles’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Shaffer and Elva Myers; and his sister Shirley Fryberger. He is survived by: his niece Deborah Fryberger; and his nephew Michael Smith. He is also survived by his family, his church family, his many friends.
