With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Lester (Carmel, New York), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Diane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Diane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Fischer and Rudy Fischer. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Lester; her daughter Stephanie Gould; and her grandchildren, Nick and Lexie Gould.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Gilead Presbyterian Church (9 Church St, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gilead Presbyterian Church.
