He is survived by : his wife Prena; his children, Mirash Vataj (Rose), Katrina Pervorfi (Prenka) and Kristina Oroshi (Kol); and his siblings, Sokol Vataj (Pashke), Nikoll Vataj, Pjeter Vataj (Marija), Frank Vataj (Zoje), Pashke Jakaj (Toma) and Prena Lulqjuraj. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
