It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Koehler of Carmel, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank E. Koehler and Matilda Koehler (Basler); and his brother Francis. He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Kraus; his children, Eric, Elizabeth (Heidrich) and Raymond; and his grandchildren, Jan Eric (Koehler), Steven (Heidrich) and Laura (Tipton).
