He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Kiggins and Janet A. Kiggins (Stewart); his granddaughter Zoey Shea Dobransky; and his siblings, William Hierholzer, Charles Hierholzer, Lawrence Kiggins, Chester Kiggins, Kenneth Kiggins, Norma Freeman, Robert Kiggins and Nellie Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Barley; his children, David Kiggins (Julie), Jeffrey Kiggins (Wanda), Derrick Kiggins (Denise), Colleen Best (Brian) and Kelly Said (Jeff); and his siblings, Gertrude MacMaster, Marion, Raymond and Oscar. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
