He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodger Beattie and Margaret Beattie. He is survived by: his wife Grace M. Pierce of Watertown; his daughter Kate; his son-in-law Tom Hooper of Oswego; his sister Evelyn Kormanik (Michael) of Staten Island; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Pierce (Karen) of Harrisville and Allan Pierce (Pamela) of Wiggins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as several cousins.
