He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Farney and Rose Farney; his wife Julie Farney (Garreffa); his daughter Anna Farney; and his brother Steven Farney.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Farney of Watertown, Danny Davis (Renee) of Carthage, Ricky Farney of Carthage and Lisa DeLosh of Carthage; and his sister Kathleen Farney. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
