He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford and Mary Gates (Genito); his great grandchild Annabelle Hope Eldridge; his sister Maureen Gates; his sister-in-law Evelyn Intorcia; and his nephews, Libero A. Intorcia Jr. (Little Billy) and Darren Gates.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Eldridge (Charles) of West Carthage and Michele Strife of Sackets Harbor; his grandchildren, Brittney Fults, Brooke Ganem (Ray), Bryan Eldridge (Veronika), Jeremy Strife (Ellen), Jasmine and Robert Strife; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Camille Fults, RayVann, Adley, Ryker Ganem, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Gabriel and Gideon Eldridge; his siblings, Kenneth Gates (Joan), Virginia "Ginger" Favret (Mark), Faye Lemar (Jeff), Gaye Shatraw (Rich), Janet Hickey (Dana) and Joanne Grace (Rodger); and his brother-in-law Libero A. Intorcia (Bill) of Carthage.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (327 West St, Carthage, NY 13619). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the New St. James Cemetery (526 S James St, Carthage, NY 13619).
