Eleanor R. Finley Obituary
The passing of Eleanor R. Finley in Carthage, New York occurred on September 28, 2026. Eleanor, born on April 11, 1945, is remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Dusharm and Alice Dusharm (House); her husband James A. Finley; her daughter Lisa Deshane; her son-in-law Dale Rider; and her siblings, Gordon, William Dusharm, Dorothy Hart, Mary Lou House, Joyce Lasiege, Patricia Dusharm, Betty Skeeles and Beverly Durham.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Rider of Gouverneur, James Finley, Jr. of Michigan and Kevin Finley of Talcville; and her brother Gerald Dusharm of Newark. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (311 County Rte 27A, Fine, NY 13639).
Donations in memory of Eleanor may be made to the Edwards Rescue Squad or the American Heart Association.
